My name is Destiny and my husbands name is Dane. We have know each other since childhood. He was a few years older than me but we lived on the same street just a few houses down from each other. Weve both know each others families for years. He went away after high school and we lost all contact with each other (because of course I was still in school at the time). We reconnected at the end of 2009 on Facebook and we had an instant connection and dated for a few months and thats when I realized I was in love with him :) We then broke up because of circumstances at the time and we parted ways both agreeing to remain friends. We stayed in touch over the years in between relationships we both had, but we both realized we still loved each other. We reconnected again in November 2013 and we decided to start dating again. On February 14, 2014 I became the happiest woman in the world. He proposed to me and we got married July 19th 2014! Yes we are newlyweds and I thank God for my husband everyday. Weve encountered and endured a lot but we both made the decision to never give up on each other and love one another as God commanded us to love as husband and wife. Hes not a perfect man but hes perfect for me. Hes my best friend and I love him with all my heart. Marriage is beautiful!
