I just found our 9X great-grandmother Catherine Ducharme !! She was born in St-Benoit, Paris, France in 1658. Her parents were Jean Ducharme and Anne Lelievre. She became an orphan at an early age. She came to Montreal in 1671 as a Fille du Roi. She married Pierre Roy in 1672 and together they had 18 children, the most of any fille du Roi. Her funeral at at Notre-Dame Cathedral in 1719.
