My name is Henry. I am from Bloomington Indiana and am a neutered male Great Pyrenees. I weigh 148lbs but my weight tends to fluctuate depending on the season and my activity level. I am cream colored with some very light tan and gray at the base of my ears that is hard to see when my hair is kept long and groomed nicely. I have a large tan/caramel colored spot on my back near my rear hips. I am microchipped with a 24Petwatch Microchip. I am very friendly and socialized and know many obedience commands. I get along well with all other dogs except for unneutered adolescent male dogs. I like cats but sometimes prefer to chase them. I have spent my entire life with Jen Peavler Bradley. She is my best friend and companion. We used to do everything together. We would visit dog parks and attend obedience school. She took me camping and hiking and on her vacations. She suffers from Lupus and I have been her support and strength because I help her get out and get exercise. Jen went through a rather difficult time in March of 2014 that included an increase in her symptoms and some resulting financial difficulty. She and I had moved into a hotel while awaiting our new apartment. A friend offered to help her and watch me. So I went to stay with this caregiver. She promised to take good care of me and to return me when Jen recovered. I was not to stay away from Jen for more than a month. However, my caregiver refused to return me. She first told Jen that I was hit and killed by a car. Later she changed her story and admitted that she had rehomed me. She told Monroe County Sheriffs Deputy, Steve Hale that I was given to a woman in Greenwood Indiana. She refuses to reveal where I am and under the laws of Indiana I am considered Personal Property. The courts cannot order me returned, nor can they force this individual to reveal where I am. I am like most Great Pyrenees and I am very bonded with Jen, my companion. I do not do well when away from her. I need to get back home to Jen. Please help me. Please share my story with all your friends. I will have a flier made that can be posted on your page.
