My name is Irish and I am a 1 year old female Labrador. Before I was rescued I was in a very frightening place with lots of other dogs that were scared like me. When Im scared, sometimes its hard for people to see what a good girl I am and how much potential I have. My new human friends saw my true personality through all of that fear so they worked to save me. They tell me I am a sweet young dog who is eager to learn, and that I also happen to be a beautiful girl. My friends also tell me I have a special story of how I came to be rescued: I came to be a Luvin Labs dog on the wings of an angel named Mickey. When my human friends talk about Mickey they get tears in their eyes, but when they see me they smile because they tell me I am Little Mickeys blessing to them. Mickey was a Luvin Labs puppy who was lost to a terrible illness. In saving me, Mickeys memory is kept alive- they even chose my name in his honor. They say I too, am a very special dog and I need a family that will love me as much as they do.
