My name is Jason Barnett I am from Searcy Arkansas. I recently purchased this 1974 KW with a 1693 Cat 13 speed. This truck is still on the 12/24 start system. I purchased this truck to add to my towing fleet This truck is in unbelievable condition for its year model.. My question is what is your opinion on the series parallel switch ? I am ready for batteries and undecided if I want to purchase the four 6 volts or refurbish the truck start system and do away with the 24 volt starter and the parallel switch and go straight 12 volt or leave it be and buy the 6 volt batteries. The system on this truck is in tip top shape. What is your thoughts ?
