My name is Leopold. I am an adorable male 7 year old Corgi/Sheltie mix. At 29 lbs, I think I am the perfect size for cuddling! Thanks to Angels Among Us, I am getting the medical treatment and love that never knew I needed. At first I did not know what to do with a human, but I am really warming up to getting petted, brushed and played with. My foster Mom and Dad say that I am opening up more and more each day! I have a sweet and laid-back personality. I am being crate-trained, but I don’t know how I feel about that yet, but with time I will get use to it, Im sure. About house training, I hear that is a big must for my furever home, so I am working really hard on it. I get along really well with other dogs (male and female), cats and children. I am heartworm positive and will need medical treatment, maybe even surgery. I know that can be really expensive, I am absolutely worth it and Angels will take care of it. My liver and gall bladder are enlarged and this may be due to the severity of my heartworm infection. Right now I have to keep my activity to a minimum. It’s hard because I like to try to run with my foster siblings. I know I sound like a lot of work but I really just need a person or people that love me to help get through the hard parts.
