My name is Nicole and I am writing you from Hispanics in Philanthropy, a transnational nonprofit based in Oakland that works to strengthen the Latino community in the US and Latin America through philanthropy. Our summer fellowship (June - September 2013) offers professional development experience with both nonprofits and foundations on a national and transnational level (we have offices in the US and in Mexico City), and allows for a wide range of flexibility to tailor the experience to students interests. Past fellows have specialized in technology, grant writing, research, programmatic work, event planning, database management, communications and more. The fellowship is unpaid, though we do provide a stipend of $400/month to offset travel and housing costs. Please advise your students that there are two different fellowships. One is a General fellowship and one is a Development fellowship. hiponline.org/about/jobs-at-hip
