My name is Shams Odeh, I worked for Reuters News Agency for 20 years, from 1993 to 2013. Much of my career was spent covering the Palestinian Israeli conflict as the key video journalist, and won awards for my coverage. In 2008, I was transferred by Reuters to Egypt, where I was in charge of Egypt and North Africa. I built a strong team of cameramen and producers in Egypt and we excelled in covering the Egyptian revolution when it broke out. I personally was the first to get into Libya and got exclusives from the front line. I left Reuters at the beginning of 2013, and returned to my home in Gaza. It is my pleasure to write to you to enquire about opportunities for full-time or freelance work as a video journalist.
