My name is Tracey Gilhuly, and I am excited to be joining the practice of Fine and Gillette where I will be working with three amazing women with whom I share a passion for Women’s Health and Wellness. I have known Marybeth, Emily and Shoshana from my teen years when they worked with my mother who was an Ob/Gyn nurse. I graduated from Northeastern University and started my nursing career at YNHH in the Newborn ICU where I spent 7 years caring for the smallest and sickest of infants. During this time, I became interested in gynecology and infertility. I became passionate about helping other women become moms and spent more than a decade working in Reproductive Medicine and Infertility (at Yale and in a private practice). I acquired extensive hands on experience with a wide range of Womens Health issues. But working with these couples made it clear to me that there was a need for a more comprehensive and well- rounded approach. This, in addition to family illness, inspired me to further my medical education. I attended a graduate program in holistic and primary care at New York University, earning my APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) and a certification in Reiki and Therapeutic Touch. Since graduating, I have been practicing primary care in the New Haven area gaining great experience. But, my heart truly belongs to Women’s Health, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join Fine and Gillette where my skills and training may now be directed towards a full spectrum of Women’s Health Care. On a personal note, I have a daughter and two sons and live with my husband, my dad, and our beagle, Scooby. I enjoy sports, fitness, reading, and travelling. I try to live life to the fullest with the belief that one is never too old to learn and grow. I know that my skills, knowledge and energy will add to this wonderful practices mission---making a difference in womens health, wellness and lives. I am very excited about this collaboration!
