My neighbor Captain Liran Adir/Edri זל, 31, of Azouz/Netanya was killed this past Thursday by mortar fire along the Gaza border. He was raised in Netanya and was married only a month ago and moved down south with his wife to Ezuz. 20 years ago the family lost Lirans grandfather Moshe/Maurice who was stabbed in the heart by a Palestinian that was employed by him. The pain of the family is very big, said one of the cronies, They asked not to cover the funeral because it was something private although it is clear that the pain they share with all the people of Israel, for whom Adri bread and fell. I went to the Mourners Tent last night and it was almost empty. I heard that 1000s came to the funeral but it was so sad to see the tent so empty and I passed by today and again it was rather empty.
