My nephew Chad has read all of your sweet comments about his group and wanted to send you a note of thanks and answer some of your questions. Heres his note to you: Hello Everyone, Me and my group would like to thank you for all of your kind words and support. We understand that the genre gap between our music and my dear ol’ Uncle’s is a significant one. But, like many of you have stated we believe that music exists in the same way food does, and it all comes down to taste. We’ve been writing songs that sound good to us, and have written some that we feel are good enough to be shared. But, we never would have expected the overwhelming kindness we have received from all of you. We have read each and every one of the comments and feel just completely blessed by the reaction to something we created, and something we hold so dear to us. I read a few questions in the comments section so I wanted to also use this thank you letter to tell you a little bit more about us. We’re based out of Lynchburg, VA and have only been formed as a band for a little under a year. God is doing some great things with us, and has given us amazing opportunities for being such a fresh talent. Some were curious about our name and why we choose to be aliased under a major felony. I (Chad) have always been in love with concept albums, and albums that tell a story instead of one song telling one story. I wanted our name to connect to that Idea so I created this fictional town called Arson’s Harbor which is the location for all of these stories that we’ve written. The name is meant to be conflicting; Arson (Fire) and Harbor (Water) this conflict between the two parallels the theme behind many of our stories which is the conflict between good and evil. Our goal with our songs is to be a light in a dark world. To write songs that many who are lost can relate to. With this EP “Grow” We are reaching out to those that feel like maybe their growth (Be it spiritual, mental, or even physical) has come to a standstill, no matter how hard they tried it feels impossible to grow. Our songs are not meant to bring resolution to their struggle; only God can do that. Our goal is for our songs to recognize that the struggle of growth is a very real one that everyone deals with. And that’s okay. Because in the end, the trials that we face are what cause us to grow the most. We want to thank you again for your support! God Bless! Chad Lowry
