My new album The Winning Team with Eric Vanderslice drops on Tuesday next week. If youve been paying attention to my single & visual drops over the past 6 weeks or so you should have an idea of what to expect...The initial goal was for this project to be an EP and wed keep it moving...but there was too much heat arriving in my inbox to stop creating. I also wanted to showcase the diversity of sounds and conceptual material it was inspiring me to write. Our friend Green Steez flew out from Chicago to sit in on one of the final sessions and add some rick flair to the sequencing, as well as co-producing the majority of the records. The homies Jaisu and Samuel L. Troxel lent their production talents as the only guest producers. Freddie Gibbs, Roc Marciano, Troy Ave, King Los, Latoiya Williams, BJ The Chicago Kid, Has-Lo , Daniel Hulbert (of GGDT) Tao Magnetic and Mitch (of GGDT) lent their undeniable talents to the vocal side of the project, and Mitch pulled off the artwork in admirable fashion. Scott Stallone killed the mixes as per usual as the lead engineer, with Parks from Headqcuorterz lending a hand in the recording process. Brian Big Bass Gardner is the king of mastering and trust me when I say the final product BANGS. Shout to all the videographers who helped bring the visuals to life as well.
