I worked on it all autumn, and feel it is a valuable support for those who are struggling with parental wounds and the issues and patterns that arise from them. I had been wanting to create a course that speaks to the many challenges that arise with unawakened parents since my father died unexpectedly in 2013. Where before he died I imagined myself someone who had worked through most of my issues with family, his death humbled me and reminded me that there is still much more to heal. So many levels, so many stages of awareness, so many returns of memory that indicate that there is still more to process and express. It is my deepest hope that this course is a haven for your own healing and expansion. There is no agenda here around how you should feel about your parents. There is no guilt here, no judgments, no shame around how you should feel about them. What is most essential, whether they are alive or dead, is to do the work to heal from your dynamic with them, to do the work to truly understand the way that it has lived itself out in your life- in your issues, in your self-belief, in your choices, in your way of moving through the world, so that you both break any unhealthy generational patterns and most importantly, create the life that you are entitled to. They may have brought you into the world, but they are not entitled to determine the parameters of your happiness, not entitled to define you, not entitled to leave you with their baggage. You have a choice in it, if not back then as a little one, then certainly now, and this course is focused on supporting your efforts to clarify the places where unawakened parents and their messages still live in you, and to invite their healing and resolution so you can fully live your magnificent life unhindered and alight.
