My newly-discovered biological (and extraordinarily wonderful) big sister Ann sent me Hang in there flowers! I wrote her that even if she shot me whilst yelling, You stink! shes still just a hundred times nicer to me than 90% of the relatives I grew up with. She never makes me feel ugly or unloved, never tries to hurt me or steal from me, and shes always kind and concerned and communicates that she cares about how Im doing. She and my new biological brother Adam and his wife are such gifts to me. Like I wrote Ann, there are no words. So people having a hard time, I say to you, Hang in there because wonderful brothers and sisters -- the metaphorical kind at least -- are on their way, right over the horizon. xo
