My news feed is filled with posts from friends burying loved ones, comforting frail family members, grieving departed pets or packing to move from a long-familiar home. And then theres news of engagements, matrimony, births, puppies, new homes and jobs. I know that FB is often criticized for its flippant nature -- and I love that too -- but I marvel at what a connecting tool it has become. I am grateful to know so much about the lives of people Im close to or even just peripherally connected. Im filled with sadness and joy at once. Thats my Saturday observation. And now Im off to the dump.
