My newsfeed is filled with posts about sick babies, and my heart - TopicsExpress

My newsfeed is filled with posts about sick babies, and my heart breaks for them. I remember the helplessness of holding my little ones, trying to bathe away a high fever, praying during the breathing treatments, and the anxiety of not knowing how to help. So I want to share my wellness tips, and how my son went from taking six medications a day to not taking anything. Jordon was born three weeks early. He weighed in at 7 pounds and was considered healthy. Until he was a few weeks old and he started having trouble breathing. By the time he was 6 months old, he was taking two different asthma medicines by nebulizer, another asthma medicine by mouth, two allergy pills, and a pill for acid reflux. Needless to say, those early years were so difficult on us both. When he started school, he was allergic to the school and had to carry a rescue inhaler. That’s a lot for a four year old to handle. One school year, he missed 17 days of school for illness. That’s when I knew I had to do something. So I mentioned Jordon to my chiropractor one day, and how he was always sick. Dr. Foster asked me to bring Jordon in for an evaluation. Turns out, he had a problem in his spine that was linked to his breathing, allergies, and acid reflux. After a few adjustments, Jordon was so much better. That’s when I started taking him off from his medication. In the three years since he has been seeing Dr. Foster, he hasn’t had antibiotics, breathing treatments, medications for allergies, asthma, or acid reflux. The minute Jordon starts feeling bad, I take him to get an adjustment. Then Dr. Foster always instructs me on how to boost his immune system with vitamins. That’s it. The next day, he is usually better. If not, we go back for another adjustment. And it always works. His daily vitamins: Vitamin D 2,000 IU’s Fish oil (when I can talk him into taking it)
