I drop the firewood and I run slashing through the woods as I do. As I come out I see that boy from district 11 standing over Clove and lover girl sitting on the floor by them. I start running towards her and I’m ready to fling a spear at Thresh when he starts to run. I don’t even care about Katniss, what kind of name is that anyway, at the moment. All I care about is being with Clove. “Cato,” she gasps as blood pours into her eyes. I feel tears start to well up in my eyes. They drip down my cheeks and onto hers like rain falling on the sidewalk or the beautiful blades of grass. That’s what Clove reminds me of, blades of grass, beautiful in the sun light, but tough even when people step all over them. “Cato, I-I Love You” Clove coughs out “Babe I love you too. Please don’t leave me!” I scream through my sobs. Slowly I see the light fade from her eyes and her beautiful hazel eyes close for the last time. Ill never see the little bit of brown right near the pupil, or the hazel grey of the rest of her eyes that sparkle like the stars. Ill never see the eyes that seem to only belong to her again. BOOM! The cannon sounds and I kiss her one last time before the hovercraft comes to take her lifeless body away. The claw comes down and picks up her lifeless body. I watch until I can no longer see or hear the hovercraft. I sit there for what feels like a lifetime crying. I need to stop I need to be strong. I will be strong for Clove. I will get revenge for her. I WILL WIN THIS GAME FOR HER! ~gwtb
