My next video is from 1994 and once again of the Le mans 24 hour Kart race. (I seem to have spent half my life there) My team mate Niels Roberts and I ran an advert in Autosport magazine to find some additional drivers for the race. One of the drivers we ended up selecting was a Brazilian driver called Boris Berto who apparently knew Ayrton Senna back in Brazil. This is his video. We managed to get a luxury coach to take us to France, which was a bit of a luxury as it was normally used to take pop groups around Europe. We took a team from Autosport with us and they managed to get us a free ferry crossing from P & O. They shared a garage at the track with us and were great company, their drivers included Henry Hope-Frost and Andy Hallbery amongst others. I think we came about 15th in the end due to an early accident that damaged the fuel tank, putting us out of contention. This video is unedited and is, as it was filmed. I hope Boris gets to see it as I doubt that he has a copy. The last time I saw him he was at the Chelsea F1 kart track and was going back to Brazil to help organise another 24 hour race for Racepro at Interlagos, and that is another story worth sharing in the future, I believe Andy Hallbery was in Brazil and he experienced it all first hand. youtu.be/FzgMeoxTjE0
