My note wont work right in Notes. so here at is again White Now that the deluge has ended, my world is shrouded in dense, white fog. Silhouettes of birds loom in high branches, crowding under a canopy of leaves - still dripping last night’s rain. Boxers stalk the garden like phantoms, floating in and out of sight in the fluid mist, happy to be away from the house - from its dark rooms, and even darker corners. The forest shivers in the midst of pearly light; all sounds are muffled, such stillness eerie after the driving rain we had imagined would never end. The pond steams like fresh brewed coffee; oaks surrounding the muddy water shadows of their ancient selves. And now the fog begins to disperse as a weak sun casts its frail light on the primordial, yet exquisite, scene.
