My number is 10: 10 things you might not know about me! 1. Im a redneck at heart! There aint nothing better than dirt track racing with my Dad! 2. I tried out for the AZ Cardinals Cheerleading Squad! Keep in mind I never cheered or danced....I just wanted the white boots! 3. I used to take a pole dancing class at the gym I belonged to with my friend, Jelyne! We even went to a stripper store to buy our shoes! One of the best investments! I still wear them! 4. The second toughest thing Ive done in my life is the 12 mile Tough Mudder with my friend, Micaela! Getting shocked is no joke! We did qualify for Worlds Toughest Mudder! 5. The worst day of my life was the day I left for the Navy. I was 18 years old and 2 weeks out of high school. My Mom and Sister walked me down to the jet way at the airport. It took every ounce of courage I had to get on the plane and leave the two people I loved most in my life. My Mom made me ask the pilot to wave out the window of the cockpit to her! He let me! My Mom had them make an announcement on the plane to wish me luck. Everyone clapped for me! I still get choked up thinking about it! Turned out to be the best decision I ever made. It led me to where I am today! 6. I was on The History Channels Suicide Missions when they did the segment on Rescue Swimmers. I was the first female Rescue Swimmer Instructor. 7. One of the scariest moments of my life was when I almost crashed in the helicopter I was flying in. We had all the windows kicked out and threw everything out of the helicopter to lighten the load. We were 10 ft. off the water. I prayed and we did a run on landing on shore. 8. One of the most beautiful places Ive seen is a little village called Chamonix. I went skiing there. Its on the border of the French, Swiss, and Italian Alps. I didnt even know how to ski. The guys I was with just said go down the hill and try to snowplow. I took out a bunch of people at the bottom because I couldnt get stopped. Luckily they were Navy Seals. I couldve seriously injured someone and myself. 9. I never truly knew love until I met my little girl! That kind of love where you knew without a doubt you would lay your life down for this person. 10. My husband of 13 years is still the love of my life! Im more in love with him today than I have ever been. I couldnt have picked a better husband, father, or friend to share my life with. He has made me a better person!
