My number two reason for loving rescue is all of the amazing people you get connected to. You get connected to people from all over the world, with one common goal- to help a living thing that can do nothing for them in return. People who drop everything they are doing in the middle of a Sunday to help drive a dog across the state. People who are complete strangers that you can have an hour long conversation with like they are a long lost friend. The hugs between transporters, adopters, fosters when leaving because you are forever emotionally bonded over one small hairy little creature. People you can call day or night, for advice, to vent to, cry to and they are there, not one but hundreds. It is one of the most amazing things to be apart of. & I am so grateful for all of you amazing people, you give me faith in humanity. 💗
