My observations of this Haitian dilemma over the last five - TopicsExpress

My observations of this Haitian dilemma over the last five years: 1. Haitians in the US have so much to say about their beloved Haiti yet they wont even go back to help their people. Sending couple dollars to help them escape does not count! 2. They love to call Bahamians prejudice but that cant be because we tolerated them for decades. Not only that, many of them are bigots and racist and i have seen this with my own two eyes (who mad stay mad). They use people to get ahead and when the gravy train stops, they turn on them. 3. Whenever a debate arises on social media and they cant win it, they resort to name calling, racial slurs etc.. (yinna meet ya match). Whenever you dismiss one Bahamian you dis all! Whatever some of you truly feel about us you live among daily.. ya need to let it go and take it Jesus! We allowed you to remain in our country for decades.. we gave you free education, health care, some of us, gave you jobs, clothing, money and food when you had none! When Haiti was devastated by the earthquake, the Bahamas came to your rescue! We sent money, I DONATED MONEY! Now you people have decided to show exactly how ungrateful you are because we want you to LEAVE?! Those Immigration officers did nothing to harm those children that some of those parents probably left behind when they ran! Yet Haitians are all about on FB claiming inhumane treatment? They were not mistreated and you know it! that crutch aint there no more! You cant use these children to stay (as bad as i feel for them). You all must leave! If The Bahamas is the only place they know.. then that is your problem as a parent to help them to adjust to Haiti. That is what happens when you enter illegally and you are deported! Then you all wonder why there is so much animosity between Haitians and Bahamians.. We dont owe yall nothing! Get that in ya heads!
