My odd love for advice columns just keeps growing- first Dan Savage, then Dear Prudence, and now Amy Alkon (and thats not counting the ones I dont follow, as much as stumble upon often) This gets considerably weirder when you realize none of their advice actually applies to me. Have I taken vicarious living too far? Or do I just like people being told how to live their lives? Or is the content of the column irrelevant, and is it instead the constancy of the column which draws me in? Do I have to stop asking rhetorical questions now? Ok.
