My official prediction: As you go to bed tonight, the Republicans will have 50 or 51 official seats, and by tomorrow or the next day, theyll have another one in Alaska (and whatever state takes some time), making 52. Louisiana and George will be run-offs that ultimately go Republican, so theyll end up with 54. The independent in Kansas, IF he caucuses with Republicans, makes it 55, but who knows? But as I said yesterday...if either North Carolina or New Hampshire go Republican, its going to be a massive win for Republicans across the board, they could end up with 56 or 57. So watch those closely. If they go Democrat but are squeakers, Republicans end up with 55 for sure. If Dems win easily in both those states, and/or if they win Georgia, were in for a long night of waiting, and a possible massive upset with perhaps a 50-50 senate.
