My old friend Mr. Brown fell this evening in his bathroom. Hes alright. He didnt get hurt at all. He just couldnt get back up. Luckily he had a health alert pager around his neck and he was able to get help right away. He was taken to the VA for a check up. No injuries but they did find an infection so theyre keeping him for a couple of days. We went to dinner last night and I suspected an infection from his catheter. We decided we would go to the VA on Monday about that anyway. Hes a mean, stubborn old S.O.B. Navy vet but those of us who know him love him. We always get together Sunday night and watch The Curse of Oak Island and some other shows together. Guess Im gonna miss this weeks episodes. Hope he gets well soon.
