My old hat, and a three year old boy for an audience makes for a fun ride home tonight. To get home most days I take one bus to the transit center in downtown Bellevue, then connect with my bus home. The whole trip is usually about 25-30 minutes. Tonight I caught my first bus and arrived in downtown a little early. There I waited for my connecting bus to go home. That bus arrived on time and left on time also. Anyone that has been on a bus knows the first rows of seats line the walls of the bus, every seat after that faces forward. I was seated in one of the side seats in the front of the bus. As the bus left I noticed I had an audience staring at me from the first row of seats facing forward. I looked to my left and waved at the little boy staring at me. He looked bored and parents were talking to each other. What happened next was so much fun. Now I am not in his league in anyway but on that ride I proceeded to provide this little boy my best attempt at my own version of Johnny Depps hat trick. Trying to put my hat on my head and watching it fall off and doing it again and again. I did this in several different ways and each time that little boy could not stop laughing. This little boy had such a sweet laugh. I kept him entertained till his parents got off 15 minutes later. He kept interrupting his parents and asking them to watch me. He called me a clown in between bursts of laughter. The rest of the passengers watched him and me waiting to see him laugh again. After he got off the bus he waved good bye to me. No matter how old I get I will always be a kid at heart. Gina Flores Mario Flores Lora LinglBryon Lingle Nicholas Christopher Michael Ballou Stephanie J Jones
