My one a day Bible Lesson to myself: Day 135 What a difference a day makes. Luke C 2 V 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour which is Christ The Lord. (12) And this shall be a sign unto you, ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger (13) And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying.(14) Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace,good will toward men Men of God had prophesied of this day since the days of the flood, The world had been told of a Saviour that would come and be born and would die for our sins. In that day many did not believe, they were not looking for this to happen. But Gods Word is true if He said it you can believe it, its its penned down in His Holy record The Bible you need to take it seriously, because it will come to pass. This Holy Birth in this stable on this day would change the lives of many. And yet many will still not believe in the Virgin Birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ. (!5) And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known to us After all the waiting, after all the preaching and testifying about His coming, the day had finally arrived.In one day the world was changed. Glory to His name. There is another day coming that has been foretold, ever since the day Christ was born His death was foretold, and after His Death His Resurrection, and after His resurrection His Ascension. But the most important Day is yet to come, and that is the Day of His return. Revelations C 22 V 12 And behold I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. (13) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Can you see what a difference a day makes? Lets celebrate His Birth, but please make plans for His Coming. That could be any day. Today is 12/13/14 Im told this date will never happen again, I dont know if thats true or not. But I do know that when Jesus comes back, our days of preparation will have been over. In such an hour as ye think not the Son of Man cometh . Dont waste this day. Amen !! Pray for each other, our country and those who serve to keep it free.
