My one a day Bible lesson to myself: Day 122 Psalms Chapter 119 Verse 89 & 90 For ever O Lord, thy Word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto generations; thou hast established the earth, and it abideth Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 Verse 14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever; nothing can be but to it, nor any thing taken from it; and God doeth it, that man should fear before Him This has been a week of joy, hardships and sadness all wrapped up into seven days. Families have been able to spend quality time together, News events have rocked our world, Satan has raised his ugly head and partly destroyed cities with riots and violence. Lawless thugs have been able to tare down what God fearing people have built up.Little children have lost their lives in accidents and families are now grieving for their loss. As Christians we know that these things will happen in the last days, and our faith must be stronger, our determination to stand with God must be stronger. Im glad this morning that God never changes, His word never changes, His love for us is eternal, His mercy is everlasting, He knows the end from the beginning, He is The Alpha and Omega, The First and The Last.We can depend on Him. Here is the question. Can He Depend on you? When trials come (and they will) can He depend on you to stand with Him? Can He depend on you to Trust Him? Later today Conestee will lay a precious little boy to rest. Words will be spoken to describe his short life and his faith in Christ. Folks will weep as will I, Tears of sorrow and questions as to why him. I have wept this week over our loss, I have hugged my children a little tighter and held them a little longer. I have tried to be thankful, and I am thankful for all Gods blessing, but it hurts to loose someone. So I say this to those reading these lines this morning. Hug your loved ones, tell them you love them, It could be the last time you see them, No one knew that Tuesday night little Christian would be hit by a car, No one ever though that today his little body would be placed in a grave, Dont let this day go by without showing your love, and dont let this day go by without showing your love to our Lord Jesus Christ. Time is running out. Amen ! Please pray for each other, our country and those who serve to keep it free. Please today a special prayer for Christian Lopez and for his family.
