My one a day Bible lesson to myself: Day 31 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ,, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians C 2 V 16 (kjv) Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Galatians C 3 V 6 (kjv) Can you see it Christs death on the Cross fulfilled the law. We are under grace but yet we do not take grace in vain. Christs blood bought us this grace, that was a huge price to pay for our forgiveness. WOW can you even imagine such a gift? Nor can I BUT I accept it. I am crucified with Christ nevertheless I live; yet not I but Christ liveth in me : and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me , and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God; for if righteousness come by the law then Christ is dead in vain. Galatians C 2 V 20,21 Thats a lot to take in but God made the law Moses penned them down and man couldnt keep them. God saw this and had compassion on man and sent His only begotten Son to fulfill the law John C 3 V 16 (kjv). Christ Dies on the Cross was buried and then rose again to be seated at his fathers right hand. Thus fulfilling the law forever. GRACE THROUGH FAITH in Christs finished work. Amen Please pray for our country and those who serve to keep it free.
