My one wish, as I watch my kids sleeping, is dat at least 1% of all these Facebook activists actually did more than just post their outrage... itd be nice to see at least a few of them not only take to the streets to make our presence felt & solidarity seen, but to also see them organize their communities, take to their capitols, & get out to vote! I dream of a safe future for my children where they dont have to walk on eggshells just because there are badges around them. But the sad truth is dat so many people express outrage, yet fail to take action. Quick to make noise, yet neglect to work for change. We already know the system is corrupt & not designed to work in our favor, but if we fail to fight back, the correct way, then we have no one to blame for future tragedies but ourselves... 2am.. RIP to EVERYONE whos lost their lives at the hands of those sworn to protect us..
