My opinion / guess regarding the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17: The Russians and their proxies (Ukrainian Separatists) wanted to gain major Inform and Influence points (in the region and internationally) by shooting down a Ukraine Military Transport plane. There was no positive squawk confirmation identifying the aircraft as an international commercial airliner. So, it was acquired by radar and shot down. Then, the shooters had a major oops on their hands and are now trying to clean it up. The black box was whisked away to Moscow. (How did the Russians get to it so quickly?) I am sure our intelligence organizations have all the info and briefed the President. The Administration is probably trying to figure out a way to spin this up to make themselves look good. After all, we dont want a confrontation with the Russians, DO WE?
