My other half is currently suffering from a suspected slipped disc and is in absolute unbearable, crippling pain, morning noon and night. However despite having had to call the paramedics out at 4-something this morning (resulting in a trip to A&E) she has been given just 48 hours-worth of liquid morphine which still isnt touching the pain or helping with mobility. So once back at home at 10 a.m. she called Mirfield Health Centre to be told that there was no opportunity to see a Doctor today as they were all booked up. It was at this point that she was also warned that tomorrow (Tuesday) would be extremely busy as it is a half-day. To labour a point, she is in excrutiating pain and at her wits end. Ive not been down to the Health Centre since the new hours so have no first hand experience of how this are now but what is the point of adding extra hours on one day to take them all away on another?
