My parents gave me the greatest birthday present a twelve year old girl could dream of...I remember opening that stall door and seeing my mom on one side, this huge smile on her face, and my brother, crouched down and holding a camera, standing on either side Webster, my dream horse, with a sign around his neck that said, Happy Birthday, Elizabeth! Im ALL yours! Love, Webster. From that day on, Webby was my right hand man. He taught me so much and he became a part of me. I dont remember much of who I was before this amazing animal came into my life. Webby was always a strong, healthy horse and never acted his age. Needless to say, this past week has been horrendous. Very much a roller coaster. He developed pneumonia, and with his weakened immune system, he didnt make it. A huge part of me died with him tonight. I know hes healthy and running and playing with my best friends horse, Dixie. I always saw him as the invincible horse, and never believed this day would ever come. I couldnt have been blessed with a better horse, and I have the greatest memories of the horse that was always there for me. Because I am the luckiest. I love you, Webster. I miss you so much, but Ill see you again, sweets!!!
