My parents, wife and cousin brother just saw the rough cut of Saaradhi (working title only)- they loved it and I have never seen them react like that to any of my previous works. It was very encouraging. The movie has been in progress and we have two fights and two songs to shoot for and also the director and creative team felt the story needed few more scenes to be added and they have worked diligently on them! The movie creatively went through a lot of changes and improvements and such a subject requires a very clear and interesting screenplay balancing many commercial elements but also ensuring a novel presentation. This movie is very close to my heart and mind and Harshath garu (the director) and I have been discussing many ways of ensuring this movie creates a lot of impact. We want to get the content right before coming out with announcements about when this movie will come out. I have been getting a lot of messages regarding this movie and let me tell you that this movie is closest to my heart and timing is key for such a movie. While we still have some scenes and some post production work left, we would ideally like this movie to release after Mana Kurralle and Yavvanam Oka Fantasy and preferably after my Tamil/Telugu bilingual. Even the director and producer feel the same and hence we are in no hurry to come out with it just yet and are taking our time and working on it diligently and ensuring we give you all the best product! But we will take a final call on the timing of release in a few days and hence proceed accordingly. I hope this answers the many questions Ive been getting from a while now.
