My personal Gratitude speech... Last Sunday night while hugging my very tired, snoring hubby, I reflected on the weekend that passed. I decided to post my own gratitude list for all those people who helped make this past weekend a BLAST. First of all I am inspired by this years Philippine Flying Disc Assoc.s 2014 (Pfda Board) My better half wouldve been super neck deep in trouble if it werent for the following reasons: Marielle Maglaya and her wonderful budgeting & unparalleled financial skills. The serious look in her eyes this whole weekend showed her focus and dedication in keeping everything in order and double-checked. Felix Angue, the Boards great spokesperson, thank you for eloquently and wisely responding to every important inquiry, comment & question. But it doesnt stop there, he was also an inspiring coach and team captain to SMART & WARRIORS respectively, galing! Karen Cabrera and Jj Orden, despite the distance from Manila, once they got here they were catching every missed task, running for whatever urgent chore or improvising for creative solutions IN A CALM and quiet manner. And at the same time playing alongside great pinoy teams, the Boracay Dragons and Dumaguete Xtrm! Mga idol talaga! ZEN MASTERS!! And Jamel D. Pangandamanl, na despite his busy weekend he still managed to come over and give his moral support for the board and for Sunken Pleasure. Thank you also for Friday Garma for helping me pioneer the DAY CARE TENT that I hope future Board members will continue in setting up for every Spirits event from here on. The foreign and local delegations were commending us on how useful and practical this kiddie area was. THANK YOU FRIDAY!!! Dakila kang mother! From playing in the heat and managing the tent with me...IDOL KA GRABE! Thank you for the people who helped us with the venue like Brother Dennis of Residencia La Salle Brothers for lending us the Zobel house, Pinggoy Bautista for reserving the fields and Eric Waldie for recommending the ultimate party mansion, Wingman & Casa Real. Thank you to my very good friends who helped us make the weekend a SUPER HERO PARTY WEEKEND TO REMEMBER. Thank you to Wally Magtibay and Chinky Ramirez Magtibay of Pixtar Photobooth for the blockbuster photo booth, Ryan Dave Maagma and Jenny Peregrina-Maagma for Sober Club (the wonderful mobile bar), for Amaya Gonzalez and Margaret Jade Chua Lao of the Polecats (best dance number!!) and my new cosplayer friends, Glenmarc Flash Antonio and Denny, the Bumbblebee (your costumes were awesome!). And to the Metro Manila Ultimate Commission Page...idol kayo! You are all so patient and hard working! From organizing with the board (Kenneth De Guzman, Jo Civil, Rica Garcia, Jm Miranda), to the field marshals (Mahiko Mauricio and his magic team) braving the scorching sun at every game, skipping the Saturday night party with Peng just to finish the kits and working at the command center or tidying up the Zobel house where we all stayed. Very hardworking indeed!! And most importantly to our Ultimate families... Sunken Pleasure!!! Good job SP for your highest win at SPIRITS so far!!! Sayang champion na sana but you guys gave a VERY GOOD GAME and I am so proud of you all! Congrats to Xtian Dador Guerrero for the Mythical 7. #popoyeatcupcakes Kitang kita ang puso nyo sa inyong laro! Ang galing nyo!!! #IbleedORANGE for you guys!!!
