My personal experience with government healthcare in England, - TopicsExpress

My personal experience with government healthcare in England, Ireland and Australia is frightening. As an American citizen we have the Cadillac of healthcare in the world. Government healthcare systems have in place gatekeepers,or the clinic physicians. He may refuse the patient access to specialists, MRI and other testing and delayed surgery scheduling. Midwives do baby deliveries. I must say I do not remember ever seeing a list of patient rights in a medical building. Keep in mind accountability. What individual can hold the government responsible and get results? We do need good healthcare options for everyone. Could we be taking the first step upon the slippery slope?
