My personal opinion on the use of force against Rodney King, which led to a lot of rioting: A high speed chase at a hundred miles an hour through ten miles of residential neighborhood leaves the police officers frantic. That may be the policing you want, but in his case, the tape that wasnt aired contained his threat to kill you mu******ckers when I get up... He was on a substance that made him impervious to tazers. He is a very powerfully built man to begin with. I remember the many interviews he gave afterward, and never noticed any after effects of his beating. He was turned over to the court system to let them determine his guilt or innocence of the accusations made by the police. Thats the protection we get under the Constitution. My fear is that brutal men like that are now beginning to win the fight against the system of laws, and their acts will no longer be punished at all. They will climb onto a plane where they are out of control, and free to mob and swarm, rape, pillage, loot and burn, wherever they want, and will do so when their organizers say it is time to do it. This is a very nice time to slip in more federal control over our local police departments. This way, the White House can hold back the police while they turn up the mobs like a radio knob. Just like they held back the Missouri National Guard during the Ferguson riots. They mobs got in a lot of practice swarming the freeways across the country (Chicagos Lakeshore Boulevard; Los Angeles 405; New Yorks bridges). All this comes in handy when you want the store shelves to thin out across the nation. This can all be directed from the White House. I dont know if they will. But I know it can be. Thats something that needs to be changed. It should be impossible for them to do this to us.
