My personal pet peeve (A phrase here meaning psychotic hatred) is people on Facebook who tell me that theyre dissapointed in me for expressing a thought or belief. I am seriously going to start unfriending people over it. The reason is because I know monkey tribe bullshit when I see it no matter how pink the tutu you dress it up in. When you say something like that youre trying to establish some kind of parental dominance that I am expected to live up to. You automatically assume a position of moral superiority that you havent actually earned. Youre not actually dissapointed in me. What you are is upset because you like or respect me, and then found a place where we dont align. Now you want to correct me like a wayward child, but the problem is Im not wayward. Im different. Accept that or not, but do not presume youre right and Im somehow in error for not recognizing that. Accepting the rainbow of shitheads that is civilization is how we keep this train on the tracks.
