My philosophy of physics, mathematics and cybernetics professor - TopicsExpress

My philosophy of physics, mathematics and cybernetics professor gave me authorization to write a recommendation letter for myself on his behalf. While psychosis did ensue, each and every word is true: Dear NYU Department of Philosophy, I, Professor Isaac Ben-Israel, chairman of the Israel Space Agency and Israels National Council for Research and Development, head of Tel Aviv Universitys Security Studies program and TAUs annual international Cyber Security conference, an IDF general and the mastermind behind the neutralization of the Iraq nuclear reactor, a former MK in the Israeli parliament (2007 – 2009), an IDF general, former chief cybernetics adviser to PM Netanyahu between 2010 and 2012, during which period I founded the National Cyber Bureau in the PM office and launched the National Cyber Initiative, recipient of numerous awards* for my contributions to Israeli defense and intelligence doctrine and author of Dialogues on Science and Defense(1989) and The Philosophy of Intelligence (1999), hereby attest that Micha Immanuel helped me understand the errors inherent in my [substance] dualistic position, has solved all the problems of philosophy and any paradox hes put his mind to, has disproved the existence of a mind-external and mind-independent world, has identified the errors in Einsteins theory of private (and therefore also general) relativity (also if one supposes, in defiance of reason, that there is an external world), all of which suggests that he might very well be the best philosopher to have ever walked the face of this violent planet (an achievement that, Micha informs me, is, from the perspective of metaphysical solipsism, less impressive than one might imagine.) Verily, in a juster world, Id be requited to gift him all my unwed daughters. Best, Isaac Ben-Israel * · 1972: The Israel Defense Prize — for developing a bombing system for the F-4 Phantom II · 1976: The Israeli Air Force Prize — for developing a computerized control and supervision system · 1984: The Head of the Intelligence Directorate Prize — for creative thought · 1989: Itzhak-Sade Prize for Military Literature — for his book Dialogues on Science and Defense · 2001: The Israel Defense Prize — a second time, for developing weapon systems · 2002: The Singapore Defense Technology Distinguished Award — for outstanding contribution to bilateral defense relations between Israel and Singapore for his contribution to Defense relations between Israel and Singapore.
