My plane for California leaves in less than 10 hours. I have been waiting for this moment for SOOO long. One of my goals in 2013 was to get to the west coast. Im a lil bit late hahaha but guess what? I can finally cross it off my list! Sometimes we dont fulfill our goals and dreams in the time frame we give ourselves. Its important to not give up if we dont complete our goals in time. If you dont reach that goal, just keep pushing forward and eventually IT WILL HAPPEN. Im going to take this as a confirmation that even though Ive been trying to release a debut album for the past five years without accomplishment, as long as I keep making moves toward that goal, IT WILL HAPPEN. So thats what Ill be working/playing my ass off to accomplish in my free time for these next few months. No free time for me. Ive got dreams to bring into reality! Im starting to realize that maybe the fruits of labor are actually the labor itself. This journey is fantastic. No need to get frustrated when we havent reached the destination because at the end of each journey there is only a beginning of a NEW journey. And that is one of the most beautiful, complex, yet simple things Ive learned about this perplexing experience called life. Just liiiiiive without expectations. Go do things that sound impossible and prove yourself wrong! California, here I come. The moment has come for us to unite.
