My plans for the 340 went up in smoke with the reschedule. That said, I can not give up the ghost of the idea of doing some kind of effort at some level for the race reschedule in August. My biggest hurdle is that I do not have a ground crew for the August date. While not excited about the thought, I am not opposed to running the race unsupported. Accordingly, that is one of the ideas being kicked around as a thought on getting in the race. That said, can anyone tell me the checkpoints and or potential stops for the 340 that would have water easily available for the racers? To clarify, I am not talking about bottles of water, I am talking about access to a spigot that would be able to provide multiple gallons of water. How about ice? Your help is greatly appreciated.
