My political point of view so it has been reported that Mr Kamoli is still refusing to step down is LDF commander. Mr Mahao has shouted for military intervension from neighbouring countries. Lesotho being a very small country with limited resources, its quite interseting to see how these two guys can handle matters. Mr Mahao being a newly appointed commander, has made it clear that most of the soldiers, especially defence intelligence is on Mr Kamolis side. So is Mr Mahao going to enjoy the position if he succeeds to win the battle? The answer is NO. Unless he is goin to fire all members of the intelligence. Mr Kamoli is potraying this rebellious attitude because he feels that he has been unfairly treated. The question is - how long is he going to refuse to step down. We have seen SADC putting aside the request of Lesotho PM to send peacekeeping troops in the country, though we have seen RSA sending him back home with personal security (SANDF, SAPS and dogs). So now Mahao is calling upon Military intervension. Is Mahao fighting for peace in the country or his new position? Why did PM fire Kamoli instead of reopening the parliament? Is Metsing responsible for all these? Opposition parties are protesting on secrecy on Lesotho political dispute. Minister of foreign affairs Nkoane-Mashane has not tabled the matter before the parliament, but soldiers and police have been spotted accompanying Lesothos PM. To be continued.... Brigadier Harmans
