My poor hands! So, the IV I had placed during surgery started making my hand swell today!! And I also had to have the one in my right hand removed because they thought it wouldnt be necessary but I got that one out yesterday. Well, earlier today I had to have an IV placed in my left forearm for a separate pain medicine that isnt compatible with the others. So there is the first time I got poked today. Then the IV in my left hand made my hand swell up so I got that taken out. Nurse came back in and was going to put an IV in my right hand again. She got it in there and my vein burst. OW! So finally we went back to my left hand and I got poked yet again, but this time found success!! So my poor little hands look really rough..lol I might get Ernie out tonight after all! Hes still in my nose, but they havent been suctioning anything out since 11:30 and I havent thrown up yet, had any pain, or gotten nauseous so tomorrow or even tonight I might get my freedom back!! lol Ill be uber happy when I get to drink water for the first time in 7-8 days.
