My poor kid! I woke up at 3 oclock this morning and decided to messege my boy who was supposed to deliver some equipment this morning to see if he was able to. He had just arrived back from Texas at 2:00 in the morning from visiting his dad and had to get up kinda early to deliver the equipment but in the 2 weeks he was gone it has snowed a lot and gotten really really cold. When I messaged him he told me that he had to get 3 long extension cords to reach to where the truck was parked so that he could plug it in and warm up the engine. He didnt park it close enough to the house the last time he used it! But then the batteries were dead on the truck. He couldnt get out there with the car because of the snow so he tried to start both skids steers but neither one of them would start either! So he took the battery charger and hooked it to one of the skid steers and got it started and was able to drive thru the snow to jump the truck. But then he couldnt get the truck out of the snow even in 4 wheel drive! That is the point when I messaged him and he told me all of that. So I told him to call the guy who wanted the Telehandler and tell him that he would just have to drive it to the job site. Unfortunately it is quite a long drive! I had to get on my computer to find the number of the guy that has been renting it so my son could get a hold of him to let him know the other guy was coming to get it and have him see if it would start before the guy got there. I hope it will! Anyway it took almost 40 minutes of messaging my son back and forth to get things resolved. Im so glad I woke up and messaged him or the poor kid would probably be still trying to get the truck unstuck! Now its 4 AM here. Hopefully I can get back to sleep. Of course the roosters are up and at it beginning around 3:20. I can hear them thru my earplugs. If Im asleep they dont wake me but since Im awake hopefully I can go back to sleep.
