My position on Akpabios Pension Bill I join the thousands of Akwa Ibom citizens within and outside Nigeria to condemn the wicked attempt to loot and plunder the state funds in the name of Akwa Ibom Governors and Deputy Governors Pension Bills. The Bill which was sent to the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly by the state Government is to say the least, an act tantamount to legalising criminality. And, I add my voice to appeal to the good consciences of the state lawmakers to please throw this particular Bill, which, I consider an assault to the collective sensibility of the people, to the dustbin which it rightly belong. I know that there are still men of proven integrity and strong character in Akwa Ibom House of Assembly who will prefer to write their names in the good books of the society by allowing the peoples wishes supersede their personal selfish interests.
