My post from August 5th, 2014: NJ should have quarantine officers stationed at Nwk-Liberty airport, like NYs JFK, to transfer patients arriving with ebola-like symptoms to area hospitals. Mt Sinai has one patient quarantined to determine whether symptoms are caused by this disease. This is a major public health issue. When I posted this some were quick to criticize as being alarmist. At the time I viewed it as common sense given the potential of this deadly virus to enter the US. Unfortunately, today my call to take precautions was prescient.
