My post to my friend Michael Puffer... sent to him just because I know hes a decent guy and reporter In response to an editorial printed in The Waterbury Republican that a former community leader wrote to throw Gregory A. Hadley Sr. under the bus It reads: I have a question, as it pertains to issues in the black community Isnt the paper tired of airing the same old rhetoric from the same old do nothing people, spouting the same old vitriol, venom and hate while offering no real solutions or positive ideas on how to help the community at large as opposed to playing the Blame Game on others?! There are NEW voices, NEW blood and NEW ideas out here, People that love and respect one another willing to WORK in conjunction with the city, state and ANY organizations Who are interested in Real Change Why not shift the focus to reporting on these types as opposed to post civil rights era dinosaurs who.have long lost their sense of 60s unity and who are willing to demean those in their own communities for the sake of a headline, Make a difference Be part of the Solution and leave those who arent where they belong...
