My power was out for a few hours. I have a battery backup for my internet and computer, but everything else was off. Isnt it strange how having no electricity brings up so many habits? When I walk into a room I turn the light on and without power, I flip the light switch and nothing happens. Luckily it isnt too cold today or I would have had to put my coat on, in my house. And its the middle of the day, or I would have been walking around with a flashlight or candle. The power went off because a transformer blew, I heard it just before the lights went out. Its odd because the power never goes out in my neighborhood and I think it has been a few years since its happened. And I got a notice yesterday that a new Google fiber network is being installed in my neighborhood, starting next week. All signs of energy shifts, transformations, reboots and resets. Im ready for a big change, are you? I can feel it building, although Im not sure what the outcome will be, but I am enjoying the messages and confirmation that we are moving along. And Im glad that the power came back a few minutes ago. I do enjoy the benefits of 21st century living, including electricity.
