My prayer this morning includes you that are facing the holidays - TopicsExpress

My prayer this morning includes you that are facing the holidays having recently said good-bye to love ones to death, or who are experiencing serious financial losses, loss of homes, or employment, loss of longtime relationships. It is not important as to how those things have occurred as to how they have impacted your ability to move on with Life and negative this depth of emotional trauma in your life. Remember God has promised in the depth of his word that He will be your hiding place or your refuge, that he will be your strength, that He is your father, He is always present to help with that pain in the day that troubles seem to overwhelm you. He is a grief barrier and a barrier of burdens. Life will come and come at all of us as a storm of massive proportions but we have that buckler, that hold that anchor in Christ. I dont want any of you ever to forget that truth. resist depression and go ahead and feel the sadness, this will pass. Acknowledge the hurt, but dont get submerged in the pain and allow it to grasp you in such a way to take you under. Get around people who are laughing and smiling and able to cushion the blow, people who can relate but not wallow with you. God is Love he has compassion, he is your daddy God. The He is, and He will , and He has is enough to sustain you if you care to be sustained and care to be lifted up out of your sorrow. Pain is real, and mental and emotional pain can be way more to deal with then that of the physical but God has arms that are able to hold you and remove the blows of the storm. My prayer is that you feel his arms, experience his kiss on your forehead, know and fall into the grace of presence. Know that you have a sister who is praying for you and I am a phone call away. Be at peace my sister, hold on my brother the storm is passing over
