My precious little dog who was abandoned with her two other sisters when they were puppies, along with their mom - found in a cotton field not too far from my home were trying to stay cool from a hot August sun in 2006. They were terrified as I walked up to them (and what dog wouldnt be because their first experience with a human was cruel to abandon them this way) and I managed to let the dogs know I was nice and would take them home for some food and cold water. Not being able to find homes for them after three days, they become part of our menagerie of other formerly homeless animals and I name the three puppies Earth, Wind and Fire. Their mom I named Muffin. She is a Chihuahua and I suspect she was married to a Beagle and my puppies are designer dogs called Beegawawaas... This is Earth riding with me in the back of my 2015 Volt. She loves to sit in the back and gaze out the small tinted window below the hatch where I keep a twin lens dash came looking at my backside at other traffic. The other lens usually keeps an eye looking forward but on this trip, I suspect Earth nudged it with her nose and it is now angled at her sweat little face.
